Connect your own domain in ten minutes

Your site works on the address we give you from the first minute. Connecting your own domain is the step that makes it feel like yours, and it is shorter than most people expect.

What you need

• A domain you already own, at any registrar: GoDaddy, Namecheap, Google, Cloudflare, and so on.
• Ten minutes.
• Access to the DNS settings for that domain.

The steps

1. In your dashboard, open Domain and type your domain. Tell us whether it is your main domain (like goldbridgerealty.com) or a subdomain (like numbers.goldbridgerealty.com).
2. We show you the records to add. For a main domain that is one A record for the bare name and one CNAME for www. For a subdomain it is a single CNAME.
3. Sign in at your registrar, open DNS, delete any old A or CNAME records with the same names, and add ours. Copy and paste the values exactly.
4. Come back and click Check again. Most domains connect within minutes. A few take up to a day, depending on the registrar.

What happens next

The moment the records resolve, your site is served on your domain with a certificate we manage for you. Your old address forwards to the new one, so links you already shared keep working. Search engines get a sitemap at your domain automatically.

If it does not connect

Nine times out of ten it is an old record that was not deleted, or a typo in the CNAME value. Check both, click Check again, and give it a few minutes. If you are stuck, reply to any email from us with your domain name and we will look at the records with you.
