Who we are

This policy explains how Broker Websites ("we," "us") handles information for Broker Websites. It covers brokers who use our service and people who use a broker's website or calculators.

Information from brokers

• Account details: your email, company, name, phone, license, office address, and the settings and design choices you make.
• Content you add: listings, photos, team members, posts, and website text.
• Billing: Stripe handles your card. We receive the plan, status, and the last four digits and brand of the card, never the full number.
• Emails between us, such as sign-in links and support requests.

Information from visitors

• When you send an inquiry, the name, email, phone, message, and numbers you entered, and the page you were on.
• Calculator inputs stay in your browser tab until you clear them or close the tab. We receive them only when you choose to send them to the broker.
• Technical information our hosting provider records to run and protect the service, such as your IP address, browser, and the pages requested.

Information from the free website check

• The website address you enter. To prepare the report we read that site's public home page, its robots.txt and its sitemap, once.
• Your email address. We use it to send you the report, and we keep it so we can contact you about your website. Asking for an email is also how we stop automated programs from running the check over and over.
• Tell us to stop and we will not write to you again. Every message we send says how.

How we use it

• To run the service: show pages, deliver inquiries to the broker you chose, and send account emails.
• To bill brokers and prevent fraud and abuse.
• To fix problems and improve the service.
• To follow the law.

Who receives it

• The broker whose website or calculator you used receives your inquiry. The broker decides how to use it and is responsible for their own privacy practices.
• Companies that run parts of the service for us: Vercel (hosting), Google Firebase (database and photo storage), Resend (email), and Stripe (payments). Pages also load fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address to deliver them.
• Authorities, when the law requires it, or to protect people and the service.

Analytics and browser storage

Our platform pages use Google Analytics for Firebase to measure visits and usage, including page views and browser and device information. Google Analytics uses cookies. Broker websites, HTML template demos, and private deal pages do not load this analytics integration. Other cookies support broker sign-in and secure checkout. Calculator drafts use browser session storage.

What we don't do

We don't sell personal information or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Broker accounts and content: while the account is open and 60 days after. Inquiries: until the broker deletes them or closes their account, then 60 days. Server logs: as long as our hosting provider keeps them, usually a few weeks.

Security

Sign-in links expire and can be redeemed once. The sign-in confirmation step protects links from automatic email scanners. New inquiries are encrypted before storage and can be opened only in the owning broker account. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away if you think something is wrong.

Your choices

Brokers can see and change their information in the dashboard, and can ask us for a copy or for deletion. Visitors can ask the broker they contacted to see, correct, or delete an inquiry, or ask us and we will pass the request on. We honor these requests whether or not a particular privacy law requires it.

Children

The service is for businesses and adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy in a significant way, we will post the new version here and email brokers before it takes effect.
